Senior Associate Product Designer - American Express

May 2025 - Present · London

Working in international team, my responsibilities include looking acquisition journeys for consumer and business customers in top 5 markets - UK, Canada, France, Australia and Mexico. As well as ensuring consistency across markets, I:

  • Designed quick comparison view of trending cards in Mexico market, delivering evidence based designs projected to drive a 3% uplift in application start rates and $1.1M in revenue increase.

  • Designed the Shop Hub in Canada market, informed by three research studies and aligned with US market standards, contributing to an estimated $3M revenue increase.

  • Led discovery and design definition for the Business International Acquisition experience. As part of this initiative, I synthesised insights into a user-needs framework, ran two cross-functional ideation workshops and produced high-quality designs that were tested with prospect users.

Working in an agile environment for public and private sector clients with the work spanning all stages of the double-diamond proces. In addition to the two long-term projects below, I have worked on quick-turnaround initiatives for Veterinary Medicines Directorate, Specsavers Optical Group and Bet365.

  • Led discovery phase by conducting user research with patients, GP staff and NHS England stakeholders.

  • Translated user research insights into design concepts by running collaborative ideation workshops.

  • Designed high-quality features by utilising NHS Design system and prototyping kit, improving patient engagement by 13%.

  • Ensured a smooth handover process from design to development and managed bi-weekly releases.
